Jim O'Donnell, the owner of Absolute Masonry and Foundation, was an unsung hero of this project. He, and his knowledge staff, helped us meet out budget by providing alternated material choices. Absolute met a critical deadline for the centennial celebration semester here at Rockhurst University. Absolute also donated the majority of the flagstone needed for an in house rebuild that he was originally asked to bid on. Jim O'Donnell's efforts exemplifies the way a business should engage the community.

The original bronze plaque was vandalized.
Jim O'Donnell, Bill O'Donnell the owners of Absolute Masonry and Foundation, LLC, along with Bob Dimond (D.A. Group Architect) served as a loyal patriots of the community by orchestrating and donating labor and materials to build a one of kind natural stone memorial.

This 25 acre park has a firefighter themed playground and a memorial area featuring a statue and an inlay of the firefighters emblem. Named for Bryan C. Pottberg who died in the line of duty during a water rescue exercise, this park is a result of a partnership between the LS Firefighters Local 2195, Jackson County Parks and Recreation and Lee's Summit Parks and Recreation.

We had an accident at our station five that required brick repair. We received four bids and selected Absolute Masonry for our repair. They were great to work with, and we were very happy with the finished product. It was a pleasure doing business with them

Absolute Masonry had a challenging job from the demolition to the reconstruction of the glass block and brick church tower. They did an amazing job matching the glass block and brick. They are blessed with talent.

Recently I had James O'Donnell and his company, Absolute Masonry, do some foundation work for me at my home in Prairie Village. The project was very professionally completed. An engineer surveyed the work and gave recommendations before the work began. The men who completed the job were knowledgeable and efficient, and easy to work with. The work was completed in a timely manner, and my basement was left neat and clean when the project was completed. The engineer returned to make sure everything had been done to his specifications, and offered a report to the effect. I gladly recommend Jim and his company.

Absolute Masonry built my patio. These guys not only built a more beautiful patio than I imagined, but they also do a lot of other things that I didn't expect but that helped me out in a pinch. With all of the rain, they provided quick help with my foundation as well. Even with the difficult conditions, they worked hard and finished on time and on budget. I don't write reviews on businesses often, but these guys deserve it. Give them a call.

I was lucky to find Absolute Masonry and Gen Construction. With water in the basement every time it rained and and six weeks of estimates that were all over the place - frustrated with different ideas of what needed to be done - Brad, Bill, Jim explained to me what what going on and how it needed to be fixed for good. I hired them and boy am I glad I did. They went to work right away, putting in a French drain in the basement floor, sealed all the foundation cracks and put a membrane all across the foundation wall. It finally solved the problem. They did it fast and finally I have a dry basement even when it rains hard. Thanks guys. Easy to understand, patience with a confused and frustrated homeowner and even I even have new friends after meeting them. Five stars for sure. Whew! Am I glad this nightmare ended well. THESE GUYS KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND DO IT VERY WELL. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
